| 4 STAR RATED T'Gallants Guest House
is situated on the edge of the historic
little port of Charlestown, which is
a conservation area, and faces out to
sea. |
 |
| A fine georgian house
T'Gallants has been completely refurbishded
with seven double letting rooms. To
the front of the house is a walled garden
overlooking the harbour. |
 |
| The name of the house
originates from Top Gallant, referred
to as T'Gallant. This was part of the
sails of a square rigged sailing ship.
In bygone days these ships were visible
from the house when Charlestown harbour
was filled with such vessels. It is
now home to a fleet of square sail tall
ships used for filming feature films
to include the Three Muskateers, Treasure
Island and the latest Mel Gilbson Film
Apocalpytho to name but a few as well
as period and historical television
programes. |
